ROSE Diagnostics Develops Breakthrough 5 Minute Test Prototype

ROSE Diagnostics is excited to announce that it has developed a verifi™ LUNG Test prototype that has a time to result of 5 minutes. This marks a massive milestone for ROSE Diagnostics’ product development, improving the test time significantly from our 10-minute prototype in March 2023. The time to result was cut in half through new, patentable discoveries that led us to this new prototype.  We believe that a 5-minute test time will address the needs of our customers to give them actionable results during lung biopsy bronchoscopy procedures.  This type of lung cancer diagnostic procedure is done under procedural anesthesia that exposes patients to risks associated with bronchoscopy and needle biopsy. These risks can include repeat biopsies owing to inadequate sample acquisition – the verifi™ LUNG Test is intended to aid clinicians in confirming adequate sample acquisition at the point of biopsy and reduce repeat procedures, in turn reducing time to diagnosis and initiation of treatment, if needed.

The ease of use of the verifi LUNG Test system saves time for the user; the transfer device and workstation save time by enabling one-handed, quick use in the hectic environment of the biopsy suite  where pulmonologists are balancing precision with reducing the time their patient is under sedation.
